When was Candler County, GA Created?
Candler County was established on July 14, 1914 from Bulloch County, Emanuel County, and Tattnall County. The county was named in honor of Allen Daniel Candler (1834 - 1910), state legislator, U.S. Congressman and the Governor of Georgia (1898 - 1902).
