Maryland County D.O.T. Road and Highway Maps
The Maryland Department of Transportation is pleased to provide highly detailed county maps online. These maps contain more detailed information about man-made features than the geological survey maps. In addition to roads and boundaries, these maps include rural communities, churches, and cemeteries. The statewide Grid Maps show all public road systems and other features at the scale of 1″ = 1000′. They cover all interstate, US, and state highways; all county, local, and municipal roads; some private and US Government roads; other transportation systems, such as rail, air, and seaports; reservations and other public lands; political boundaries; drainage and streams; large open bodies of water; and some public buildings, such as post offices, courthouses, etc.

The Town Maps on this page are for Maryland’s incorporated towns only. An incorporated town has its own government and defined municipal boundaries. Most commonly, towns are incorporated by acts of the Maryland General Assembly, although sometimes towns are incorporated by referendum.
